Creators,
WGMCorp./JLVWII is proud to announce that submissions for nominations for The W Awards and to join the Williams Entertainment Institute will be opening on April 1st, 2023! Please read the following instructions carefully.
The W Awards are an extension of the rigorous attention The Williams Family affords to the music, media, and entertainment industries to ensure their successes and the successes of those who participate in them. As a collective, the Family has agreed that small creators in these fields continually push the boundaries of their industries, yet receive little to no recognition for their efforts. The W Awards prioritizes the celebration of small creators and allows them the acknowledgment they deserve.

The Williams Entertainment Institute is home to the academies of participants and professionals of the music, media, and entertainment industries. For The W Awards, two academies have been established.
The Professional Academy
The Professional Academy seeks membership from music industry executives and staff members, active or former, equipped with a proven track record of quality, excellence, and integrity. These individuals will be responsible for finding the top submissions from each category to send them for a second round of voting in The Participants Academy.
The Participants Academy
The Participants Academy seeks membership from active creators in the music industry who embody the values of pique creativity, originality, and innovation as set forth by WGMCorp./JLVWII. We think that your peers in the music industry should determine who wins, so these individuals will be responsible for the final vote to determine who will receive a W award in the fall.
NOTICE: The Williams Entertainment Institute has pulled voting for The W Awards from the Academies and will appoint internally to complete the nominations and award recipients. Nominees will be notified of their nominations on the week of August 14th.
